We are very excited and happy to announce that Rough Trade Bristol has been awarded a National Lottery Project Grant which will enable us to continue supporting Grassroots Live Music in our Bristol location.
The funding we've been awarded will allow us to upgrade various sound equipment and improve sound treatments to the venue for the benefit of all.
As one of the newest venues in the city, we are very humbled with the support we've received from everyone - including promoters, bands, other venues - and everyone who has come to the shows. If it wasn't for yourselves, we wouldn't be able to do this, so HUGE 'thank you!' to you all.
And of course, a huge thank you to Arts Council England for trusting what we do, and enabling us to continue working in such a fantastic grassroots music scene.
Rough Trade Bristol is a constantly evolving entity, creating its own vibrant history, so we can't wait to put all the new improvements in place and restart our live programming.
