In December of 2024 Becca Harvey, known professionally as girlpuppy, signed to New York's Captured Tracks. Single Champ followed shortly after, introducing a more dynamic sound albeit one that still retains the introspective and heartfelt essence of her earlier releases. Forthcoming album Sweetness beautifully identifies the perfect blend of shoegaze, dream pop and pop rock and nestles her neatly among peers such as Blondshell, Momma and Slow Pulp.
girlpuppy is a project by an artist that understands she is on a journey. From her folk-infused beginnings to the evolving expansive sonics of this new work, girlpuppy stays true to herself, Sweetness emerging as a formative force in her young career.

Fun fact: last year the Atlanta-based indie riser received a "co-sign" by Charli XCX when 2024's most viral icon responded to one of her TikTok videos in June of the same year.
