Who are Westside Cowboy?
A rising quartet with an affinity for American roots music, applying a distinctly DIY British twist. Westside Cowboy are Jimmy Bradbury (vocals, guitar), Reuben Haycocks (vocals, guitar), Aoife Anson O'Connell (vocals, bass) and Paddy Murphy (vocals, drums), formed after meeting at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. The tight-knit group share vocal duties between them, all truly talented musicians whose vibrancy and camaraderie make them a must-watch live. One of the most exciting bands emerging on the current UK circuit right now.
What does It Goes On sound like?
Fresh from supporting Geese on their Spring 2026 tour, Westside Cowboy properly introduce themselves to us with their debut album It Goes On, a sprawling project informed by Americana, rock and roll, melodic indie and everything in between. The band's folk warmth is youthful but never fully twee, made restless by gritty guitars and punk by mundane lyricism. It's a sound that's hard to pin down yet increasingly rewarding every repeat listen.
